What will the report actually tell me?
What you are inheriting and what it costs: architecture and whether it scales, code quality and test coverage, security-sensitive paths, infrastructure cost, dependency and licensing risk, and how much of the system lives in one person's head.
How long does it take?
Two weeks from kickoff to written report. We can compress it when a deal timeline demands, and we will tell you upfront what a shorter window costs you in depth.
Who reads the report?
It is written to be read by the people making the decision, not only by engineers — findings, severity and remediation cost in plain language, with the technical detail behind it for your own team to check.
Are you independent of the deal?
Yes. We are engaged by the buyer or the investor, and we have no stake in whether the transaction closes. The report says what we found.
Do you review the team as well as the code?
Yes. Key-person risk is one of the most common findings and almost never appears in a data room. We look at who can actually maintain the system and what happens if they leave.
What if we want the problems fixed afterwards?
We can quote that separately, and we will say so plainly if we think another team is a better fit. The review is not a sales pitch for a build.
How much does it cost?
Our minimum project size is $10,000, published on our Clutch profile. Scope depends on the size of the codebase and how deep the review needs to go.
Where do you not use AI?
Architecture decisions, security-sensitive paths and anything touching your data model stay with the people accountable for them.
