Overview

EverSpan was founded with a clear mission: shift healthcare from reactive treatment to proactive, personalized longevity care. By combining blood biomarkers, genetic data, and one-on-one clinician guidance, the company demonstrated that deeply personalized healthcare could deliver meaningful, measurable results.

The Challenge

As demand grew, so did the complexity behind the scenes.

What worked well for a small, premium audience quickly became difficult to scale. Manual processes, fragmented tools, and one-off workflows created friction for members and internal teams. To bring this level of care to a broader market, EverSpan needed to evolve from a service-first model to a product-driven platform.

Key challenges included:

  • Lab results delivered as static PDF reports, with no visualization or tracking
  • Action plans explained primarily during Zoom calls, with limited ability for members to review them later
  • Scheduling, messaging, and purchasing handled through separate platforms
  • No single place for members to see their complete health picture
  • Highly manual workflows that increased cost and complexity with every new member
  • A strict timeline requiring a functional MVP in three to four months

Planning, Launch, Learning, and Stabilization

From the outset, the timeline was aggressive. EverSpan needed a functional application in the market within three to four months, leaving little room for uncertainty or misalignment.

The collaboration began with intensive upfront planning. We worked onsite with EverSpan’s leadership to map workflows, define priorities, and translate requirements into a realistic MVP scope. Designs were created and reviewed early to ensure alignment before development began.

This clarity proved essential once development started. Work progressed through structured sprints, with full visibility into progress, blockers, and trade-offs.

With the new platform in place, EverSpan successfully transitioned from a highly manual service model to a scalable digital experience. Members gained a centralized view of their biomarkers, action plans, and health history. Internally, operational complexity was reduced by consolidating tools into a single platform.

Our Solution

We partnered with EverSpan to design and build a custom mobile application that centralized the entire member experience on a single, cohesive platform.

The initial solution included:

  • A unified member dashboard serving as the central hub for all health information
  • Biomarker data visualized over time, allowing members to track progress and trends instead of reviewing isolated PDFs
  • Action plans clearly documented inside the app for ongoing reference
  • Integrated scheduling and concierge-style communication
  • An in-app shop for supplements and prescriptions
  • Genetic data incorporated to support deeper personalization
  • A flexible technical foundation designed to support future integrations

The goal was not to replace EverSpan’s personalized care model, but to support it with better tools and continuity. As the EverSpan team put it:

Beyond immediate improvements, the application unlocked EverSpan’s longer-term roadmap. Integrations with wearable devices such as Apple Watch, Oura Ring, and body composition scales are planned for Q2 and Q3, made possible by the technical foundation now in place.
